I found my true passion for photography while living in Germany. My husband and I spent several years in Europe and I was lucky enough to travel and see a small sliver of the world. The most magical moment was atop the Eiffel Tower with the city of Paris glowing from the evening sunlight. At that moment, I thought nothing could ever be better than landscape photography. A while later, my daughter was born and my whole outlook on photography changed. I spent my days taking photos of her in different light and capturing her various facial expressions. Every wrinkle of the nose and smile was a new priceless moment captured for me to treasure. A few people in the area noticed my photos and asked if I would take photographs of their family members and pets. I was so honored to be a part of the special moments in their lives and I am happy to be a part of yours. I am primarily a natural light photographer. I love the unpredictability of the light, the setting, and the people. I believe that the photos derived from this sort of setting tell the true story of the people in the photographs. When photography is natural and minimal, the true colors show and create a beautiful image. While I have a weekday job that I absolutely love, I cannot ignore my passion for natural light photography.
